Streaming Instructions

After you have purchased your 3-Day Rental you can begin streaming the documentary film. You do not have to begin your 3-Day Rental Period immediately, but once you have started to view you will have 3-Days to replay as often as you like.

From Your SmartPhone & Tablet

Both Android and Apple SpartPhones are compatible from which to display the streaming movie to your smart TV. You will use the "casting" feature on your Apple iPhone or tablet; OR use the "screen mirroring" feature on your Android phone or tablet.

From An Android Device . .

In order to use this feature, you need to connect your device to the Google Home app. You can connect to your smart TV via either wireless network or via Chromecast (or via an adapter with an HDMI cable that plugs into your TV). Be sure that your device is fully charged before your begin, and know your network password.

On your TV, go to the Menu and select the external device from which you want to "mirror".

Once done, open the app and select the target device. Tap the Cast my screen button to put your phone screen on the TV. When you're done, tap Stop mirroring in the app.

Support for screen mirroring has varied by manufacturer since the feature was introduced with Android version 5.0 Lollipop. Many phones have a Cast button built into the phone's settings or in the pull-down settings shade. Samsung's phones have something called Smart View to connect and share to and from your mobile device. Pixel phones have a Google Home shortcut.

From An iPhone or Apple Mobile Device . .
  1. Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, AirPlay-compatible smart TV, or Mac.

  2. Find the video that you want to stream.

  3. Tap the AirPlay button. In some apps, you might need to tap a different button first.1 For example, in the Photos app, tap the Share button, then tap the AirPlay button.

  4. Choose your TV or Mac from the list.

  5. To stop streaming, tap the AirPlay button in the app that you're streaming from, then tap your iPhone or iPad from the list.


    Be sure that your device is fully charged before your begin, and know your network password.

Mirror your iPhone or iPad to a TV or Mac
  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, AirPlay-compatible smart TV, or Mac.2

  2. Open Control Center:

    • On iPhone X or later or iPad with iPadOS 13 or later: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.

    • On iPhone 8 or earlier or iOS 11 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.

  3. Tap the Screen Mirroring button..

  4. Select your TV or Mac from the list.

  5. If an AirPlay passcode appears on your TV screen or Mac, enter the passcode on your iPhone or iPad.

To stop mirroring your iPhone or iPad, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then tap Stop Mirroring. Or press the Menu button on your Apple TV Remote.
